8 Tips for Your  Easter Party

Fundamentally, the meaning of Easter is about the resurrection of Christ.

Tip #1 – Invite your guests at least two weeks ahead of Easter Sunday.   People often tend to get booked up by the week before Easter.

Tip #2 – Plan your menu for Easter early so you can look out for  special sales on food such as ham as Easter approaches.  Write down a list of things you will need.

Tip #3 – Shop early enough to avoid crowds, but late enough to have fresh food.  It is much nicer to do you shopping early before the stores get crowded with all the last minute shoppers.  Allowing a little more time for preparation and shopping always helps you enjoy the planning and and event.

Tip #4 – If you are planning to use dyed eggs as part of your decorations,  dye your eggs a couple days before your event.  Then you will not have to worry about the usual colored fingers that go along with dying Easter eggs.

Tip #5 – You might want to encourage your guests to let their children wear their Easter dresses and Easter outfits since dressing up for Easter worship and activities is traditions. Even the littlest infants can be a part of the Easter festivities dresses in baby Easter dresses .

Tip # 7 – For the  children at the  Easter gathering, plan fun games, crafts, or other activities which they can work on to keep them busy and happy.  Offering  a prize for the winning craft project may give them a fun sense of competition and motivate them work longer on their activity.

Tip #8 - A great activity for the children is giving them the craft supplies to decorate their own  Easter baskets. You can find baskets are at your local dollar store or Goodwill stores for the best prices.  Another option is to have  the children decorate and fill baskets to deliver to a local charity organization.
